Arsenal fans will be excited by news filtering through that Santi Carzola will sign for Arsenal soon. Most people are not too aware of the qualities of Santi especially as he neither plays for the big 2 in Spain and neither does he start for the Spanish national team.
Competition for the Spanish midfield include Xavi, Inniesta, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Martinez, Navas, Mata, Fabregas, Silva and of course Santi Carzola and Arsenal’s very own Arteta. Also the youngsters include Thiago, Oriol Romeu, Iker Muniain and Ander Herrera. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that Santi does not get many games for the Spanish national team.
