Our friends over at Fantasy Yirma have gone for defenders as their picks in GW 4. Patrice Evra is their number 1 pick as he is home to Crystal Palace. Other defenders and GK’s include Vertonghen, Hangeland. Why has FY gone for defenders? Visit their website to find out more. (p.s. it’s related to the new Bonus system).
FPL Addicts has focused on why Giroud (8.8) is the in-form player at the moment (I have already picked him up – Omer). The Addicts have also provided a detailed GW4 preview, which features fixture-wise team news and picks. Since United are hosting Crystal Palace this week, they recommend picking up a United player or two, e.g. Vidic, Evra and RVP (who is also listed in their Captains article along with Giroud and Benteke).
Ultra Fantasy Football’s preview is back for GW4 with Giroud, Ben Arfa, Ozil, Enrique as their picks. Visit their website if you want more information about each individual players potential. Also, they have a wonderful iPhone app for fantasy football ($1.99).
Fantasy Football Geek has an extensive list of forwards – who to buy and which ones to hold. The list is divided into three categories: Elite such as RvP (buy), Giroud (buy), Aguero (hold); Mid Price: Lambert (hold), Dzeko (sell); and Budget forwards. A nice list to choose your attacker for GW4.
UPDATE: The Chief @FPL Hints brings you his GW 4 picks. He himself has taken a -4 hit to transfer in Gayle and Ozil for Dzeko and Snodgrass. (ed’s note: Ozil might be struggling as per latest reports).
