At TKTG we have studied the best articles on Fantasy Football for the picks of the week. Remember to join our league at the official game using the code: 101892-53185.
We have taken our pick recommendations from Never Manage Alone (NMA) and Fantasy Football Scout (FFS) for GW 6. (Ed. Note: We have now updated the picks from Fantasy Yirma as well)
Forwards:
- Nikica Jelavic – recommend by NMA, FFS and Fantasy Yirma.
- Demba Ba – recommend by both NMA and FFS. He’s been on fire to start the season and has Reading next.
- Ricky Lambert – recommend by both NMA and FFS. Everton have been good but hardly airtight at the back.
- Steven Fletcher – recommend by NMA, FFS and Fantasy Yirma.
Other options from Never Manage Alone are Peter Crouch, Kevin Mirallas (Everton) while Fantasy Scout goes for Defoe, RVP and Berbatov and Suarez (Fantasy Yirma pick as well) besides the 4 players recommend above. (Be vary of Tevez as Aguero is back.)
Midfielders:
- Maraune Fellaini – recommend by NMA, FFS and Fantasy Yirma.
- Michu – recommend by both NMA and FFS – both blogs are still keeping faith in him
Both bloggers seem to be divided over the other options but Carzola is mentioned by both even though he is playing Chelsea.
Other options include Esteban Granero, Steven Pienaar, Hatem Ben Arfa, Gareth Bale, Raheem Sterling (Fantasy Yirma pick as well).
Defenders:
- Leighton Baines – recommend by NMA, FFS and Fantasy Yirma
Surprisingly there are no other defenders that are recommend by both blogs! However since Fantasy Football Scout recommends exclusively for the official game while NMA also follows the Yahoo game we have taken FFS recommendations.
Other options include: McAuley, Ridgewell and Olsson all from WBA, John o’Shea, Glen Johnson (Fantasy Yirma pick as well), Kompany, Huth, and John Arne Risse.
Goal Keepers
Again surprisingly no player is recommend by the both blogs. FFS goes with Simon Mignolet of Sunderland as their number 1 pick. Ben Foster, Reina, and Tim Howard are also worth a shot.
Remember to check out the Physio Room for an injury update. Notable players that are either injured or may face a late fitness test include Vermaelen, Adebayor, Valencia, Vidic, Ashley Young, Larsson, Borini and Nasri.
