Our friends at Fantasy Yirma are jumping on the Sturridge & Giroud bandwagon, and who can blame them? Both strikers have scored in each premier league game this season, and are sure to be in the mix again this weekend. Aaron Ramsey has also been in fine form, with the Welshman enjoying his time further up the field for Arsenal. He looks a solid bet, at just £5.8m.

Ultra Fantasy Football is backing Wayne Rooney to shine in the Manchester derby. At £10.6m the rejuvenated Red Devil, looks set to have a good run of games coming up, so he definitely offers good value. Hatem Ben Arfa has also been playing spectacularly well, with a couple of stunning goals recently. He’s only worth £7.2m and is currently one of the few bright sparks in the Newcastle lineup.

In terms of defenders, Seamus Coleman and Pablo Zabaleta appear to be the most favoured picks at the back. If you haven’t settled on a keeper as yet, then try to get Simon Mignolet in your squad.

The key this week, and as we see so often, will be who to captain the squad with. I’m going to listen to the Fantasy Football Geeks and the FPL Addicts and go for their main pick, which is Olivier Giroud. They also alternatively suggest Ozil, Sturridge, Walcott and Benteke. If I was a betting man though, I’d take the punt and go for Rooney.

Ozil

FPL Hints has dropped Lescott this week and gone for Ramsey and Ozil who is also his Captain. Check out his other picks on his site.

Remember to check out the latest injury reports at Physio Room and be sure to join the TKTG league to win £ 150 for first place and £ 50 for second place. The league code is: 99698-29443 or click here to get added automatically.
